What measures should be taken to reduce the electric bill of the house? 

In the house, mainly the fan and the light are the two main devices to increase the electric bill. Some steps can be taken in this regard. For example 

1) If the lamps are scrubbed well every day, then the benefits can be obtained. 

2) It is better to open 100 watt bulb and install 40 watt fluorescent lamp. 

3) It is better to use electronic ballast instead of conventional choke. 

4) If there is a fridge in the house, its thermostat should be checked regularly, because it controls the work of the compressor. 

5) Do not allow too much ice to freeze in the fridge. Because ice is a bad conductor of heat and then the compressor has to work harder.
